    Socket programming


    Recently we tried a code which opens a socket at 80 to a webserver and keeps pinging if i dont close teh socket connection the server then ju sbecomes irresponsive !
    can neone tell me how to prevent this frm happenein should i get my hands on to the http.conf ? where do i modify it ?

    hmm irresponsive in the sense we r unable to access the page from other terminal.
