    This is a nice, compact online book about PHP. There are lots of other in bookstores and on P2Ps but I've been only patient to read this one. I you choose to buy a book beware of thick "bricks" with language reference taking up half of the contents - this can be found on PHP's web page for free together with some useful user annotations.
