System Reboots during Kernel Execution
Hi! I am working on a custom board with the following specs:
- NEC VR5701 MIPS-based CPU
- Linux Kernel 2.6.10
- MontaVista Linux Pro 4.0 mips2_fp_le toolchain
- PMON 1.4.0 bootloader
The custom board has the bootloader running. I now load the linux kernel or vmlinux to the board using a JTAG ICE. My problem is after the kernel has been loaded into the RAM and it starts executing, at some point the board automatically reboots.
I tried to trace the execution using the JTAG ICE and I always cannot pass through the "setup_arch" portion wherein the board automatically reboots.
Help please!
