    Does anyone know of good IDE for python one that is fre but of professional quality

    Well, pro quality? Maybe only Komodo or the like...

    Boa Constructor

    But then I think you probably have tried those already... and are looking for something better.

    You could try Kdevelop, check on the page if it supports python. Also Anjuta and DrPython.

    It was stani's python editor, it is really good
