The following is output from the interactive python interpreter:
Code:
>>> v = ('a', 'b', 'e')
>>> (x, y, z) = v     (1)
>>> x
'a'
>>> y
'b'
>>> z
'e'
Appearantly, python will allow multiple bindings this way... Is there a way to accomplish something similar in ruby. The only thing that I could come up with is generating a hash based on two arrays. Any thoughts? Maybe a legitimate hash would be more responsible anyhow.
