    i want to close sound device by force

    I can't open sound device .
    because other program use sound device.

    but other program shouldn't exit.

    how to open sound device(/dev/dsp) in this situation ?

    Sound daemon

    If you're opening the audio device with an open(2) (or fopen(3)), only one process at time can handle the same audio device.

    To merge two audio outputs only in one, you must use any sound daemon (artsd or esd). These daemons provide libraries to send audio thru a socket, and merge multiple inputs.
