    PHP compile


    Can someone tell me how to compile and run a php, which got no html code involve, which is run at the backend, without typing the http://localhost

    PHP is a serverside language. This means that it MUST run off of a server.

    So basically, you cannot run it except through http://localhost , at least, I don't know of any other way to do it.


    Also, as a note, you're not actually compiling PHP. You're just interpreting it. The same goes for Perl, by the way.

    If you wanna go for a language kinda like php (not really like php, but meh) try using javascript, its very simple and you just save it as a .html file and run it and it works

    while i type htp://localhost it gives me an error of this
    “localhost” refused the connection.

    The server may be busy or you may have a network connection problem. Try again later.

    There may be an old version of the page you wanted:


    * in the Google Cache

    * in the Internet Archive
    but i am able to ping it and get the replies
