    Keeping in mind that privacy is one right we have, and anyone MUST NOT break it...

    Any packet sniffer can grab any traffic, including Yahoo IM... for example ethereal is a good GUI interface wich sniff traffic...

    Of course any sniffer can grab traffic on local interfaces (lo, eth0, ppp0...), so if your Yahoo traffic is not sent to your machine, you can't grab it...
    When using Windows, have you ever told "Ehi... do your business?"
