Hey im new to the forums and have a scripting problems

    Hello everyone,
I would like to say i am looking forward to some extensive learning with linux and unix as it seems to be an ever evolving technology. I need help with a logon/off script. It's for mac osx 10.4. I need what would be the equivilant to a mandatory profile. Just somthing that when a user loggs off it delets all the changes made, and when a user logs back its the same throughout all pc's.

This isn't really the place for MacOS X, but maybe someone here can help...

As an alternative approach, have you tried setting the permissions for everything in the user profile to read-only, that way the user wouldn't be able to change stuff in the first place?

I know, but the version of mac osx we have is bsd based so it follows the same command structure.
