Dear illustrious linux community,

I am running some version of MATLAB 7 on FC5. I use emacs text
editor and debug my m-files with db from the command line. My
problem is this: although I have set emacs as my prefered text editor
for editing/debugging m-files in the MATLAB prefereces menu, when my
code produces an error, MATLAB automatically opens the file in which
the error occured in the MATLAB editor. I would like the file to
launch in emacs or not at all.

Any suggestions?

Best regards,

Joe
