need a c program to calculate a raised to the power b where b is a float number

hi all.....

can anyone plz help me by sending a program in c in linux which calculates a raised to the power b where a and b are float type....

plz tell me how to use pow function in linux...

i have used it the same way as we use in turbo c but got an error that undefined reference to the function pow....

plz help me out by removing my problem...
