hello everybody

im a linux newbie, and after experimenting with several editors (for C programming), i decided to choose Xemacs, which is the one i like the most.

however, there is only one feature (for now) that i think is lacking in xemacs.
i heard that xemacs is very customizable, so im here to ask you how i can have line numbers before every line.. is that doable?

what i mean by line numbers is a feature which i have only seen in notepad++, here is a screenshot
