Hi,
I need the help of linux gurus, my senario is i'm using linux-9 as mail server and there are about 2000 mail users on this system. users login on this system via some email client and check e-mail. for auth i'm using linux default /etc/passwd and etc/shadow method.
My problem is i need a scripts which findout such users who are inacitve from a long time means they are not using mail service so that i can delete such accounts.
As users not logins on shell so wtmp log file does not showing any info.
Plz help me.

Do you have a system logging on your server, when certain users connect? Problably yes ( as you wrote ) so just give the content of the file, so then it will be possible to write the correct solution.
