I had the same problem when running Suse Enterprise with KDE and found out that Kdevelop has issues with Clearcase vobs using KDE. The problem manifest itself by Kdevelop not seeing the directory structure in a vob, but it can open the file indirectly via ctrl-alt-O or by going through the class view. But debugging was still broken.

The fix was to switch to Gnome, which I did and it worked great for weeks. Then yesterday I had to log out and when I logged back in the problem was back and in Gnome!

Anyone have any ideas?
