    C Socket Error

    Could someone direct me to some reading or what not that could help me recognize and handle socket errors in C? I'm writing a chat server and need to have it exit the thread and set certain flags.

    If you are looking for good debugging tool try strace command.
    It's very useful one -even i wrote a socket programming - chating and messaging tool - with the help of it....bye

    Well, no. That's not quite what I meant. I'm just looking for a tutorial on handling socket errors and parsing them as they occur, not for a debugger.
