Eclipse is great- but it is a memory hog. There are a lot of plug-ins installed, most of which I won't ever use. I also don't want to just go and randomly remove plug-ins for fear of breaking the install. Does anyone know which things can / cannot be removed while keep a decent eclipse install for Java / C++? Any other tips would be appreciated too I know of one short guide from 2005, but it doesn't go into install plug-ins,etc.
