Script to cycle through desktop pages.

Hi. I'm sure this is a really easy one for you scripting wizards... I monitor a large network and currently have four dual headed pc's displaying various different monitoring applications. Now, my thoughts were that if I can could have one or two linux machines, each with four virtual desktops in KDE or Gnome, hooked up to a couple or large displays this would be a lot more neat and efficient. So, how can I script something to switch between desktop pages every n seconds?

    Many thanks.

If I get your meaning right, try out wmctrl. It's a great command line tool for EWMH compliant WMs, like those used by Gnome and KDE.
