    How to find hard disk size


    Dear All,

    Please let me know that how can i find the total hard disk size of my system. I have enterprise Linux Advance Sever. I try to find out the disk space from that command but its showing the used and available space also. The command is df -h

    Filesystem size Used Avail. Used% Mounton
    /dev/mapper/volGroup00-log vol00 20G 5.7 14G 30 /

    /dev/Sda1 99M 13M 82M 14 /boot

    none 503M 0 503M 0 /dev/shm

    /dev/mapper/volGroup00-logvol01 125G 29G 91G 24 /share

    Please confirm what is the actual size of the hard disk. And if any other command that how can i find the disk size????? Please its very urgent So please reply urgently.

    yes i tried its showing

    disk /dev/sda:320.0GB ,320072933376 bytes
    255 heads,63 sectors/track,38913 cylinders
    units=cylinder of 16065*512=8225280 bytes

    Device boot start end blocks id system

    /dev/sda1 1 13 104391 83 linux

    /dev/sda2 14 38913 312464259 8e Linuxlvm

    Kindly let me know what is the size its 320 GB???

    That part shows you the size of the disk labelled /dev/sda. As the output shows, the disk is 320 GB.

    /dev/sda1 99M 13M 82M 14% /boot

    none 503M 0 503M 0% /dev/shm

    /dev/mapper/volgroup-logvol03 125G 29G 91G 24% /share

    Please let me know what is the size that hard disk has been utilized ?

    used means utilized..In yiur case its
    Filesystem size used Avail used% Mount on

    Thanks.. Can u tell me please i want to access the telnet from windows to the linux server like that the error is showing
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>telnet server1
    Connecting To server1...Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect failed

    Please tell me how can i connect that. We have workgroup not on domain.
