    install .deb package on fedora / centos using apt-get


    Is I can install .deb software using apt-get on fedora / centos / red hat linux ? How ?

    I want to use apt-get because it's automatically download the depends.I did not like to use alien to convert it to rpm. is there is other way to install .deb package on rpm-based distributors ?

    It's not a good idea to try using .debs on RPM-based distros.

    You can however use Yum on the distros you mentioned and it will also pull in any needed dependencies.
