    I am new to RedHat but have installed Bugzilla on a Cobalt RaQ4 which uses a RedHat Linux based OS. To install you need CPAN and a quick and easy way to get it on is to use the following command...

    perl -MCPAN -e 'install Bundle::Bugzilla'

    This will run you through a quick config option list then attempt to install every module required by Bugzilla including any exiting modules that need updating.

    I made this (perl -MCPAN -e 'install Bundle::Bugzilla'). Than I download the file bugzilla-2.16.6.tar.gz from www.bugzilla.org. I untar this to /var/www/html/bugzilla.

    I run the script ./checksetup.pl and I get the following:

    [root@hswedu1 bugzilla]# ./checksetup.pl

    Checking perl modules ...
    Checking for AppConfig (v1.52) ok: found v1.56
    Checking for CGI::Carp (any) ok: found v1.28
    Checking for Data:umper (any) ok: found v2.12
    Checking for Date::Parse (any) ok: found v2.27
    Checking for DBI (v1.13) ok: found v1.43
    Checking for DBD::mysql (v1.2209) ok: found v2.1021
    Checking for File::Spec (v0.82) ok: found v0.87
    Checking for File::Temp (any) ok: found v0.14
    Checking for Template (v2.07) not found
    Checking for Text::Wrap (v2001.0131) ok: found v2001.0929
    Checking for CGI::Carp (any) ok: found v1.28

    The following Perl modules are optional:
    Checking for GD (v1.19) not found
    Checking for Chart::Base (v0.99) not found
    Checking for XML::Parser (any) ok: found v2.31

    If you you want to see graphical bug dependency charts, you may install
    the optional libgd and the Perl modules GD-1.19 and Chart::Base-0.99b, e.g. by
    running (as root)

    perl -MCPAN -e'install "LDS/GD-1.19.tar.gz"'
    perl -MCPAN -e'install "N/NI/NINJAZ/Chart-0.99b.tar.gz"'

    Bugzilla requires some Perl modules which are either missing from your
    system, or the version on your system is too old.
    They can be installed by running (as root) the following:
    perl -MCPAN -e 'install "Template"'
    Minimum version required: 2.07

    [root@hswedu1 bugzilla]#

    Thanks for your help

    I got it right...

    It works together with mysql... ( I run ./checksetup.pl ) and it was able to setup the bugs-database...

    So far so good... I would post new questions if get other problems...
