Rescue process for older RH6.2 system and hardware RAID
I have an older RedHat 6.2 system with all disks attached to a DAC960 hardware RAID controller. Looks like LILO went AWOL. I can boot the RH6.2 rescue diskette successfully, but, to my surprise, am unable to do something like "mount -t ext2 /dev/c0d0p2 boot", where "/dev/c0d0p2" is the boot partition on the RAID array. I'm confident the disks are fine, we're simply missing LILO and are thus unable to boot from the system on the RAID array. Can anybody tell me what I need to do from the rescue prompt so that I can mount the RAID partitions so that I can recover LILO? Many thanks!
