I would like to install Fedora Core 1 in a external USB hard disk. Is it posible? How can I do it?

i think you can't do the installation of the os when you choose to configure all the things about partitioning method or filesystem type and creating swap, linux searches the hard drives of the system (the mounted ones).

It is strongly recommended that while possible, you do NOT partition a USB hard disk. Bad things happen. Check your manufacturers documentation for more information.
