nvidia driver help on fedora8 x86_64
Hi. I just bought a new 64bit amd athlon machine. I have a nvidia Geforce7050M-M pci-e installed. I just installed and updated Fedora 8, and did a bit of post install additions from livna. I installed kmod-nvidia, but when I try to enable the driver and restart gdm, it doesn't work. I really like using linux with the desktop effects enabled, and I can't do this without getting the nvidia driver working first. Can anyone help out here?
uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.21-2952.fc8xen #1 SMP Mon Nov 19 07:06:36 EST 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
If you need anymore info from me in order to help, let me know. Thanks -Steve.
