    Hard Drive Mount Help..?


    hi..guys,

    i m using Fedora Core 1..i hav added a New HardDrive...i want to format it and Mount with the Existing one..how do i Format it ..
    i used the Disk Management System but it's only detecting My Cd' Device..i did check the hardware browser and found the new harddrive listed..in /dev/hdb ..so how do i format it..is there a specific procedure to follow..

    First you need to partition the disk using cfdisk/fdisk then create the filesystem on the partition you have created. Also what filesystem do you plan on using?
