I installed Fedora 8, everything is fine, until i get to the first boot setup, to the set date/time point, when i click next there the comp freezes. I can't do nothing, it is totally frozen.
I erased the rhgb quiet line in kernel and replaced it with 3. But then it loaded everything and i got the selection text screen for boot on then it still crashed, when i got to the set date/time point.
Did i do something wrong, do i need to change the vga driver or not?

    Comp is hp 6018ea
    Amd x2 64bit processor
    1gb ram
    nvidia 7200 go
    broadcom wifi

GRUB doesn't display any Text Screen selection menu after appending kernel line with 3.
Highlight Fedora title in GRUB Menu and press 'e'. Select kernel line and press 'e' again. Type single and hit Enter key. Press 'b'.
    e -- select kernel line -- e -- type 3 -- hit Enter key -- b.
Does it drop you at command line prompt?
Log in as root and execute this
    Code:
    system-config-display --reconfig
    startx

    Glad to help you.
I would suggest you start a new thread for Broadcam wifi in Wireless Forum.
