Display only works for root user

Hi, Iv been messing around with FC8 for a couple of days now. I created a new user so i didn't have to use the root. Whenever i startx the gui is all screwed up and i cant do anything.

This problem occoured the first time i started up FC8 with the root. I had to mess around with eh xorg.conf for a while until it worked out for me. Is there a seperate xorg.conf for each user? If not is there a different say to solve this problem?

I fixed it, if anyone was interested the xorg.conf located in the /etc/X11/ folder is the one that takes care of all the other users. The xorg.conf located in the /root is the one used for the root user.
