    how to configure proxy server


    Hi all,

    I want to setup a 'mini' proxy server in my lab......meaning. we do have a proxy server but that is for the entire college. Every PC is under that "Main" proxy...
    I want to setup a proxy server in my lab such that all the PCs in my lab send me the request and then I forward it to the "Main" proxy server....and of course the direct the response to the corresponding PC...

    How to accomplish this.. Which server i need to use and please tell how to configure it for the above task..

    If you are running appache you could configure it act as a proxy server.

    You could also use squid and configure it as your proxy.
    All your client browsers should point to you local proxy.
