    BOOTABLE DISK FOR Redhat


    Hi
    if I want to make backup for my hard disk should I have to get bootable disk
    for Redhat ,how can I get bootable disk?:confused

    The SuperGrub CD should let you boot a Linux distro from the hard disk even if the boot loader is broken. Otherwise a fresh install & restoring data backup is probably a good idea.

    so how can I make backup for the hard disk by using this CD

    You can use PartImage for back up. It will create bootable .iso image and you can restore that image or burn it to CD/DVD to install the same on other machine.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    thanks I get the bootabel CD and already download it
    but please can you tell me how I make back up for the whole hard disk
    and restore it if it may crash my ps that base on redhat ?

    PartImage homepage has detailed instructions to do that. Just create an image of working system and install it on other machine.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
