    Add path ( /home/peter ) in $PATH


    I have a question, if I want to add path (/home/peter) in $PATH, how can i do it ?

    Just do the regular variable-assignment process, and concatenate ":/home/peter" with it. That is,
    Code:
    HOME=$HOME:/home/peter
    If you want this to happen every time peter opens a bash terminal, edit the .bashrc file in /home/peter to include this line.
