When Linux processes before loading the GUI, I have to wait minutes before it 'starts' these two processes! How can I speed them up, or stop them being accessed?...

    subject: "sendmail" + "sm-client" hang -

    Found this im another forum
    also do u need sendmail??
    most people dont
    on readhat use chkconfig
on others look in you /etc/rcX.d/
(X is your default runtime, in /etc/inittab)
    to turn sendmail off change
    S80sendmail
    to
    K80sendmail
    in /etc/rcX.d/

"""That sounds like a typical DNS resolver issue. Sendmail is attempting
to do some DNS lookups but either the network isn't up yet or the
resolvers are not responding. Sendmail will hang until it either
receives an answer or the DNS queries time out. Check your DNS settings
in /etc/resolv.conf and perform some digs against those resolvers.
