You may need to download and install some updates. It would be best to connect the Fedora PC witha wired internet connection, until you get the wireless configured. This will save you from doing a lot of rebooting.Code:uname -r

Ok i found b43 in the /sbin/lsmod but no bcm43xx... so were do i go to get fwcutter for the b43?

You can find which kernel version that you are running with the uname -r command that I posted earlier.
You most likely need to use the firmware version 4.80.53.0 at the top of the list. You also need to use b43-fwcutter v. 011 to extract the firmware.
I don't know how you will do this without an internet connection. The instructions use the Linux program wget to download the files using the terminal. You can remove the wget from the address to get it with windows. Then save the files to a USB drive or CD and copy them to Fedora.Paul
