    If I ran a dialup connection form linux - using wine - will it work? will I be able to get online using windows ?
    if yes, which file should I run to activate my dialup connection?

    whoa confused, if you have to dail, use kppp. yeah i think thats what your asking.

    kppp and kinternet are two programs you can use.although i would suggest you kppp,easier setup for your internet account,you can check your modem if it is recognised with query modem option and maybe change some modem commands(like init strings--for experts)..i think that's what you want..
