Getting USB ADSL Modem To Work

Hi, I just installed Redhat 9 yesterday, and I'm still a total newbie. I guess I've got to start learning from somewhere though. It would help if I could get my USB ADSL modem working so I can get online. Could someone tell me how. (Please explain well, newbie here remember). The Power light is illuminated but the link light is blank. In system devices, the device (which appears as USB ADSL Modem) appears about 10 times . The modem is a Sagem F@st 800

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
