I tried to install linux red hat 9 in my computer, it boots, i choose the language the type of keyboard, then i select the type of media this package contains (local cd rom)and then it says "unable to find any devices of the type needed for this installation type. Would you like to manually select
your driver or use a driver disc?"

Redhat 9 is very old and not supported anymore. there are many new hardware components like SATA Disks that it does not support. if you are not bound to use Redhat 9 i would suggest to use Fedora or CentOS.
since you could boot with the CD the problem shouldnt be the CD. the messages you post are not easy to understand but i would check the Hard DiskLinux and me it's a love story
