The X is a capital letter. Look for a folder /etc/X11.

    Execute this
    Code:
    ls /etc/X11
Post output here. X Server is installed in RHEL by default.
    Did you do custom installation?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

X Sever has not been installed. Install it using Up2date or yum.

    up2date

Since I have never installed software on Linux I went to the man page of up2date and did the following:

    /etc/log.d/scripts/services/up2date --showall

But, the script seems to be stuck. I looked at the script and it looks like it's trying to read from <STDIN> but I don't any place where it looks for --showall, --help etc.

Am I executing some wrong script or do I need to do anything else.
