Fedora 7 is not booting
ata1: port failed to respond
No volume groups found
Volume group "VolGroup00" not found
unable to access resume device (/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01)
Then the message: Kernel panic
i would boot with a LiveCD that supports LVM .then i would activate the volume group and see if this is because of a filesystem inconsistency or an HD problemLinux and me it's a love story
It seems a HD issue. After switching power off, beating/shaking the notebook it starts booting.
