CentOS 5/Fedora 8 user account restrictions
Hi guys wondering anyone has any experience with this or has seen good guide or anything somewhere explaining this.
The current situation is i have a simple network setup with NFS/NIS using CentOS 5 as the server and Fedora 8 for the clients the accounts are all set to a basic level of being able share files save to work area's and so on.
The problem is i need to be able to set restrictions on the accounts to limit what programs and software can be access'ed on the client. for example just to say that Person1/Person2 are not able to run games or have any internet access, Person3/person4 cant access any games but can use the internet, Person5/Person6 can use everything.
any help would be appreciated or even just a pointer to a good place to startLast edited by paulrobinson; 07-03-2008 at 01:00 PM. Reason: typo's
