    Thumbs down terminal problem


    While opening the terminal for normal user it was showing error message when ever i tried to open the terminal it is giving the error message

    ERROR MESSAGE:An error occured while loading or saving configuration information for gnome-terminal.Some of your configuration settings may not work properly.

    How to resolve this

    Delete /home/user-id/.gconf/apps/gnome-terminal folder.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    You've probably checked, but is there space on your /home partition and/or have you fsck'd the partition ?

    Try renaming .gconf, .gconfd and .gnome2 folders.
    Execute this
