    Hi and Welcome !

Which version of Fedora/Ubuntu have you installed?
Are Ubuntu or Fedora LiveCDs booting up fine? Could you post a few lines that appear before kernel panic error message?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    kernel panic

i could not install anything as follows:

    fedora core 6.0, 7.0,8.0,9.0
    ubuntu 8.04 and so so

before kernel panic there are different type register address with kernel thread .And there are different digit like

    02 00 f6 w7 3h .................................................. .........
    .................................................. .................................
    .................................................. .................................

    then says kernel panic.init failed

Boot up from LiveCD of any distro, open Terminal and execute this
    Code:
    sudo fdisk -l
    Post output here.

*Its small L in fdisk -l.
