    default yum repo location

    hi,

    i installed fedora 7 through the DVD. so, i edited the yum repo location to the local media.

    now i'm planning to install beryl through yum. i think i need to restore the repo location to the default url, i forget the url. doen anyone know?

    Why are you running Fedora 7? It has reached End of Life. There is no support for it and finding repos that are working is near impossible. Time to update to Fedora 9 with a clean install.

    Beryl is better supported under Fedora 9. Chances are that, because Fedora 7 isn't supported anymore, you would having difficulty getting it to work with Fedora 7.

    well, things are moving fast. when i installed Fedora 7, Fedora 8 beta was the latest version.

    guess i'll consider updating my Fedora later.
