    Fedore 6 to Fedora 9

I plan to migrate from FC 6 to Fedora 9. In Evolution I have lots of
information I want to copy over to the new version. The same for
    Firefox including Bookmarks.
I have googled a lot but not being able to find the right info.
I should appreciate some hints how to begin to attac this problem.

    Thanks in forward!

I suggest you a clean reinstall

The best way is to do a clean install (as tiersen also mentioned). Simply because Fedora is bleeding edge (using the latest and greatest software).

As a result of this, the difference between 2 versions can be huge, let along upgrading from version 6 to 9.

What you could do is copying the relevant .directories (for example .evolution, .mozilla and .thunderbird) to DVD or network (or other harddisk) and reinstall.

If the /home directory is on a seperate partition, you can do a clean install without copying (don't format /home during the install). Create the same user and all data remains.
