    Network Card stops working

My network card will stop working after several hours. If I unplug the network cable and plug it back in it works again for several more hours. I am funning Fedora Core 9. I think it may be related to some power saving feature but it does not wake itself back up, even when I open a web browser. Any ideas?

    Welcome to the forums!

If you think it's related to a power saving feature, you might check the BIOS settings on your machine for an option to disable the sleep mode.

Thanks for the advice. I will take a look at it. I am new to Linux, it's good to know there is a place to get answers.

Post back if that's not it and we'll all try to dig a little deeper.
