    problem installing pidgin.repo


    hi i am trying to install this multiple messenger but is not getting run.

    [root@localhost Download]# yum install pidgin.repo
    Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
    Setting up Install Process
    Parsing package install arguments
    No package pidgin.repo available.
    Nothing to do

    can u please tell me wat to do?

    actually first i got this

    bash: pidgin.repo: command not found
    [root@localhost Download]# run pidgin.repo
    bash: run: command not found
    [root@localhost Download]# yum install pudgin
    Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
    updates | 2.6 kB 00:00
    primary.sqlite.bz2 | 9.1 kB 00:00
    fedora 2.4 kB 00:00
    primary.sqlite.bz2 6.1 MB 05:01
    Setting up Install Process
    Parsing package install arguments
    No package pudgin available.
    Nothing to do




    i have given the command said down but this is the output

    [root@localhost Download]# yum install pidgin
    Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
    updates | 2.6 kB 00:00
    fedora 2.4 kB 00:00
    Setting up Install Process
    Parsing package install arguments
    Package pidgin-2.4.1-2.fc9.i386 already installed and latest version
    Nothing to do


    can u tell me where this is installed
