Hi

my computer is a lenovo t61p running fedora 9.
my issues are the following:

after resuming from suspending to ram the setttings i have done to my synaptics touchpad are lost, such as two finger scrolling, no scrolling on the corners ...

saved in:
/etc/X11/xorg.conf

apart from these settings, the usb port controlling my fingerprint reader changes its power level from auto to on after resuming from suspend to ram causing it to turn really hot.

/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1a.0/usb3/3-2/power/level: on

ive been trying out some things like adding some scripts to my session manager, but none has worked. and would like to have fedora run the scripts automatically without me entering any commands after resuming.

in order to restore all these settings i have to restart my window manager

im kind of a begginer in linux. anyone's help would be excellent and appreciated.
