unable to login
in single user mode i tried these following steps..
new pass abc
retype pass abc
again the same no login shell & permission denied error i got
then i gave
chmod 777 /etc/passwd
chage -I never root
chage -E never root
then checked to passwd file first line it
then when i gave chattr -i /etc/passwd
it shows an permisssion denied error
at last i deleted root acc by deleting first line have root entry in /etc/passwd, /group , /shadow & created new account named root & setted passwd then
chmod 777 to /etc/passwd , /group , /shadow file
this time also it shows permission denied error with chattr command
& same login error
can some one help me ...............

Welcome to the forums!
At this point, I'd personally recommend a fresh install. You shouldn't have to change permissions on files simply to login on a properly installed system.
In the future, if you want to reset root or user passwords, you can use this HowTo for doing so.
