Red face Fedora 7.0 crashed - How to recover?

    Hello friends,

My quest for a Voice chat and Web cam enabled chat client led to a system crash. I had installed Fedora 7.0 with GNOME. To check out Voice chat and web cam facilities I had also installed lots of KDE based softwares. Yesterday, I decided to remove the unwanted KDE applications. Using the software install/uninstall tool I marked these products for deletion.

How ever this deletion screwed up many of the existing applications, programs too, and Fedora did not boot up. Even GRUB now lists out only Windows 2000 and no Fedora.

Any chance to recover from this disaster?
Will all the users, and files (of the users) be lost?

If we can recover, how to go about it?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you still have the Fedora install CD? If so, can you boot into rescue modem and post the output of
    fdisk -l
