    configuring in NIS client problem


    when i tried to start service for ypbind, i ve the following error...

    ypbind -d
    14081: parsing config file
    14081: Trying entry: domain newclus server 10.1.4.215
    14081: parsed domain 'newclus' server '10.1.4.215'
    14081: add_server() domain: newclus, host: 10.1.4.215, slot: 0
    14081: [Welcome to ypbind-mt, version 1.19]

    14081: ping interval is 20 seconds

    14083: ping host '10.1.4.215', domain 'newclus'
    14083: host '10.1.4.215' doesn't answer.
    14082: Signal (2) for quitting program arrived.
    please if anyone help me to solve my problem...
