    Fedora 8 and WinXP

    Dear All
    I am using Fedora Core 8 And Windows XP Professional 2 in my home PC.My Boot Loader Is GRUB.But the problem is i cannot repair windowx XP using bootable XP CD.When booting from cd it just shows "Setup is configuring your hardware" then only blank screen.I remove my fedora partitions using rescue mode.Then try to boot from xp cd and works.What is the problem?.My System details are Intel Dual Core 2
    Intel 945 MotherBoard
    I GB RAM
    Samsung 16 GB HDD.

    In a few machines, Windows Installation CDs do not work properly after Linux installation. Download SuperGRUB CD ( look for version 0.9598 ) and boot up from it. Select Fix Windows Boot Loader option. It will remove GRUB and Windows Installation CD will work after that. You can user SuperGRUB CD or Fedora Installation CD to re-install GRUB later on.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
