So here's the deal, I have fail2ban 0.8.3 (RPM) installed and configured on my Fedora 10 system and have for some time now. I have noticed though that the past couple of weeks (I can't tell for sure when it started happening) it's been taking a REALLY long time for it to terminate. Sometimes on the order of 30 minutes or more. I'm fairly certain that this is not normal nor the expected behavior. I couldn't say for sure if it's related to an update but it's quite possible that it is. Is there any way to track down why this is happening? Due to it taking so long, it also take a very long time to (nicely) shut down the server as it has to wait for fail2ban to end. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!!!
