    Need to know configuration of Hardware

    Hi,

    First thing I have no operating system. Also I dont have any manual for Hardware.

    Now, Is that a way to identify the exact configuration of processor running in hardware.

    Basically Need to know :
    1. Processor
    2. Modes of processor
    3. Its 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit or 64-bit OR it has support of all.
    4. Number of GPRS (general perpose register)
    5. Role of each register (just to know which is pc , stack, return value, return address if architecture supports).
    6. Pipeline
    7. CPU speed

    Please help me.

    Usually CPU brand, model, and clock speed can be viewed through your BIOS (pressing the delete key during startup). You can probably get the rest of the information by researching that model.

    Welcome to the forums!

    You could also pull the cover off the case, remove any heat sink from CPU, get model number directly off of CPU, then find all the specs online.
